Rethink Methane 2018

More than 300 stakeholders from the California Air Resources Board, California Energy Commission, legislative staff and multiple other state and local agencies, as well as and the bioenergy, dairy, hydrogen, electric, natural gas, and fuel cell industries, convened to continue the discussion about the role renewable gas can play in helping California achieve its air quality and climate objectives, sustainably manage its organic waste, and responsibly accelerate market development for renewable power. The key message heard throughout the day was that ongoing education was the key to ensuring public and private sector decisionmakers understand the critical role renewable gas can play in immediately and cost effectively meeting the objectives set in SB32, AB197, and SB1383, as well as other important state polices. Presentations included:
